We have just listed some artworks on our web shop.
They are collaged watercolour artworks that inspired our window "our cosmos" for the Incu artists window project.
When we create large installations, they usually take up to 3 months from the inception of an idea. We work on a lot of small artworks and they form the inspiration for our larger installation.
We never really show these works as they are process work for the final artwork. But we thought all art is never complete and artworks are part of an artists journey and process.
We have created 6 installations in the past 2 years. They are mostly self funded and we are still working on ways of balancing income with our passion projects. This is when we thought it was time to start releasing some of these pieces. This means you can take home a piece of that installation as well as helping us fund the next. We are hoping to continue this and have you part of our journey and process as Artists.
You can purchase these here

We have also created one off, hand painted artworks to be used as gift certificates for Dagmar Rousset. A beautiful idea, the artwork to hold onto after you shop in store, 2 gifts in 1!

Melbourne Now workshop at the NGV
On the 6th of Feb we held a workshop at the NGV as part of the current Melbourne Now exhibition.
We taught people how to create POM's from scratch...folding, cutting and glueing.
Thanks for all who contributed to the communal hanging piece :)
This is the video we created for the workshop.

Our installation in the making!
Our installation for Pieces of Eight gallery was three months in the making. It started with this little sketch and developed from there.
We used our clothes line for drying.
Assembling the shape in our living room.
(please excuse the mess!)
We added some crushed glass glitter to the smaller POM's for the x'mas window.

We have been a little slack in keeping up to date with our blog...but Happy New Year! It's 2014 but here is a little post on our last installation of 2013! At Pieces of Eight gallery in Melbourne. We created their X'mas window(our biggest so far!). A 5mx 5m window, each piece made from Arches 300gsm- 850gsm watercolour paper, each piece hand painted and folded into shape.
