Yumi's mother and one of her friend arranged the pumpkin patch to clear the driveway. They found some small pumpkins. They are not ready to eat yet, but will be soon.

The Yoga Shed

Our recent work is with The Yoga Shed in Richmond.

Theresa and Yves own the shop, Greenhills Organics in Richmond, NSW. It began as just a simple organic groceries, fruit and vege store (which didn't exist in the area) and now includes an organic vege patch next to the shop and their new community yoga centre (which was an empty shed opposite the store).

We are very inspired by Theresa and Yves and their sense of community, their generous hearts in opening up their space for yoga and all things good for the soul :)

We have been working on the logo and flyer for their opening in April. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!

Dyeing Workshop in Kyoto

I (taka) went to Japan last month, then I visited a dyeing/weaving studio in Kyoto. It was my third time visiting this place. I did the "Kusaki-zome" (dyeing using plants) workshop. I learned about natural dyeing using different techniques.

COMPOST

At Yumi's parents' house, they have a compost beside their driveway. It has grown into a huge pumpkin community, from some pumpkins that were composted a few years ago.

I expect I can eat lots of them soon!

A year from the earthquake

At Tsukiji Honganji temple in Tokyo, Japan. There were are lots of posters about saving electricity, the last year. Many of them were not only for electricity, but the connection of people.

Now, there is no posters... I feel it is too early.

Bundanoon

We went to Bundanoon. Bundanoon is famous as a Bottled Water Free Town.

We are in Sydney!

We came back in Sydney on 2nd February. We learned lots of things during this trip, also we got lots of things we would like to study.

This is one of them, the organic certificate label by USDA (United States Department of Agriculture). This label means the product is (or more than) "90% organic". However we don't get what "90% organic" means?
We will slowly start studying about these.
